Job Responsibilities

I. Tax Administration

• Manage end-to-end GST, TDS, TCS, and Corporate Tax compliance.

• Oversee timely filing of returns and statutory payments.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.

II. Audit, Risk & Controls

• Coordinate with statutory auditors and manage tax assessments/notices.

• Strengthen internal tax controls and maintain detailed audit trails.

• Identify tax risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.

III. Strategic & Global Collaboration

• Work in a multi-national environment (Sweden, Greece, Canada, India).

• Provide tax advisory for international expansion and new product launches.

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations on cross-border transactions.

IV. Financial Reporting

• Prepare tax provisions, disclosures, and financial reports per Indian GAAP.

• Analyze financial data to drive process improvements and automation.

• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of deep-rooted experience in global tax compliance and strategy, preferably from a Big 4 or MNC background.

• Strong leadership experience

• A mastery of GST, Income Tax, and International Tax frameworks, backed by a Master's degree in a relevant financial discipline.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and a data-driven approach to accounting and tax workflows.

• The ability to translate complex tax data into clear, actionable insights for diverse global stakeholders.
