Job Responsibilities
I. Tax Administration
Manage end-to-end GST, TDS, TCS, and Corporate Tax compliance.
Oversee timely filing of returns and statutory payments.
Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.
II. Audit, Risk & Controls
Coordinate with statutory auditors and manage tax assessments/notices.
Strengthen internal tax controls and maintain detailed audit trails.
Identify tax risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
III. Strategic & Global Collaboration
Work in a multi-national environment (Sweden, Greece, Canada, India).
Provide tax advisory for international expansion and new product launches.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations on cross-border transactions.
IV. Financial Reporting
Prepare tax provisions, disclosures, and financial reports per Indian GAAP.
Analyze financial data to drive process improvements and automation.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Job Requirements
10+ years of deep-rooted experience in global tax compliance and strategy, preferably from a Big 4 or MNC background.
Strong leadership experience
A mastery of GST, Income Tax, and International Tax frameworks, backed by a Master's degree in a relevant financial discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and a data-driven approach to accounting and tax workflows.
The ability to translate complex tax data into clear, actionable insights for diverse global stakeholders.
