Senior Commercial Analyst - Partner relations

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to support the team with advanced analytical skills, identifying opportunities for optimization, commercial evaluation, full responsibility for team reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis. The position belongs to the Meta-Relations team (we handle company relations with partners like Skyscanner, Kayak etc) of the Commercial Department and is based in Athens, Greece.
Responsibilities
Commercial analysis & strategic insights: Support deal negotiations and strategic decisions by analyzing commercial proposals, provide analytical input and scenario modeling followed by the evaluation of the actual result, translate complex datasets into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
Advanced performance evaluation: Monitor and analyze the performance, spot trends and identify opportunities (or risks) through deep-dive analysis.
Reporting & data structure: Control and improvement of existing team reporting for advanced performance and business impact tracking, automate where possible and maintain high standards of data quality and clarity in all reporting outputs.
External interactions: Potential participation in external meetings and negotiations, might include traveling few times a year to visit partners or attend conferences.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in commercial, business intelligence, or strategy roles with ability to connect analytical findings with business strategy (e-commerce, online marketplace, online travel industry etc.)
Curious critical thinker who enjoys deep-diving into data, detail-oriented, highly organized and independent, able to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions constructively and clearly.
Strong analytical and pro-active mindset able to contribute to discussions around commercial decisions and trade-offs.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets is a must, nice to have knowledge of Qlik and Looker, experience with other analytical tools will be considered.
