The Role
To support our growing scale, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help design, operate, and evolve our private cloud platform built on OpenStack and Ceph.
You will work on large-scale infrastructure challenges across compute, storage, and networking — ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable, and scalable. This includes improving automation, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and continuously optimizing the cloud environment to support our internal services and development workloads.
Our work is highly collaborative. You will primarily work alongside other infrastructure teams such as database, networking, and platform engineers, while also supporting software teams when investigating infrastructure-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and operate our private cloud platform based on OpenStack and Ceph
Manage and improve core cloud services including compute, storage, and networking
Maintain and optimize the Ceph storage platform to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
Improve platform reliability and operability through automation and infrastructure tooling
Monitor and troubleshoot issues across the cloud stack, from hypervisors and storage to virtual networking
Work closely with infrastructure teams such as database, networking, and platform engineers to troubleshoot platform issues and performance bottlenecks, while also collaborating with software engineers when investigating service behavior and reliability.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions and continuous improvements of the cloud environment
Document systems, architecture, and operational practices to support knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
Strong Linux administration experience in production environments
Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting OpenStack and Ceph
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Experience managing virtual machines and virtual networking
Comfortable building and maintaining infrastructure using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
Experience with configuration management tools and Infrastructure as Code
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, and virtual networks)
