Sales Operations Manager

The Role
Are you ready to make a real impact on our core business and drive further sales growth together with an engaged international team? Sales Operations is searching for an enthusiastic pricing manager to be based in our office in Athens!
The Pricing department is responsible for optimizing and driving sales in all sales channels. The department conducts competition benchmarking, analysis of various sales channels, conducts pricing of the air ticket and other optimizations taking revenue and costs into account. Each pricing analyst is responsible for optimizing sales in one or more markets and are also leading cross-market initiatives.
You will engage and collaborate closely with other departments within our sales organization and be very closely involved in all aspects of core business!
The team
We are further developing our Sales Operations team in Athens. You would be part of a well-established department while contributing to our growing team locally. The overall team consists of a group of over 25 Pricing Analysts across all our locations, where each person has the responsibility to drive growth within their own market(s) as well as within other business areas.This position is located in Athens, but the team is also sitting in Stockholm and Mumbai. You will collaborate closely with a Sweden-based Pricing Management team, while being the first Sales Operations Manager located in Athens. Our Pricing Managers are responsible for different areas within the Sales Operations domain and have a smaller group of Pricing Analysts reporting directly to them.
*The role reports to Sebastian Roth, Director in the Sales Operations team.
As the Pricing Manager your main focus will be to
Own and drive the sales performance of a Sales Region.
Lead, support and coach a team of Pricing Analysts in their day-to-day work.
Take ownership of Sales KPIs, ensuring alignment with agreed targets.
Drive continuous improvements in ways of working, processes and tools.
Act as the Sales Operations stakeholder in cross-functional forums and projects.
Ensure initiatives are data-driven to achieve maximum effectiveness
Report results and sales updates to the wider organization
Lead and act as a key stakeholder in medium to large-scale projects, managing them end-to-end.
Requirements
More than 3 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, sales operations or a similar analytical/commercial role.
Previous experience in airlines, OTA or travel-related industries is a strong advantage.
Educational background in Business, Economics or related field
Leadership and team management skills
Have a high degree of independent decision making and ability to deliver on assignments with high quality
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Experience owning KPIs and driving commercial performance
Ability to work independently and take decisions in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience leading projects and/or cross-functional initiatives
