The Role
The Senior Business Development Manager role at Etraveli Group is responsible for driving sales initiatives, promoting PRECISION and other fintech solutions (if required) within the travel industry and supporting the go-to-market strategy. You will be leading sales initiatives mainly targeting the company's B2B partnerships but also other travel key players including airlines, aggregators, and OTAs. Responsibilities include development and execution of sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Contribute in defining the overall sales strategy, aligned with the company's as well as the fintech organization’s business goals and market opportunities.
Identify and actively manage opportunities to grow customers as well as sales channels by mainly targeting the company's B2B partnerships but also other travel key players.
Stay up-to-date with the competition landscape and ensure continuous monitoring of industry trends while establishing a network to support future strategy.
Provide feedback on customer needs and competitors’ innovative travel fintech solutions that address specific pain points or opportunities within the travel industry and cooperate internally to assess the way to handle them.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners to ensure establishment of necessary collaboration frameworks aiming to support sales activity.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the fintech team, encouraging creativity, autonomy, and accountability.
Support and guide team in different aspects of business development including go to market strategy, customer approaching, new sales channels development, opportunity sizing.
Co-own the P&L of fintech products and lead the sales performance.
Requirements
Proven experience in fintech sales, with a track record of success in selling fintech solutions to B2B clients, preferably within the travel and/or payment industry
Expertise in risk management, fraud prevention, and transaction management, with a deep understanding of fintech technologies and solutions in these areas
Strong sales leadership skills, including strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Structured thinking, organized and number-driven approach when assessing business/ sales opportunities being able to set the right priorities
Combine effectively sales skills and domain knowledge while demonstrating strong leadership skills being able to influence stakeholders and successfully convince potential clients on Fintech organizations value propositions
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology or a related field
